Last weekend we hit over 100,000 unique players on our KZ servers! In celebration, today I am announcing a much-requested addition to our fleet of servers - a Top 100/VIP KZ server. This server, like our public KZTimer server is globalled, features the same mapcycle, linked replay bots, same local database, and several QOL changes. Some of these changes include a longer standard timelimit, unlimited extends, no limit on past maps played, and more!

General/All Servers:
  • Updated weapon skins to include the new Prisma Case
  • Fixed a couple various memory leaks
Competitive:
  • Fixed minor anti-cheat false positive
  • Removed am_inferno_mid_neogear, duplicate of am_inferno_mid32, and did not contain enough arenas
Surf:
  • Added surf_pinkcubes (T2 Linear)
  • Added lasers to surf_utopia_njv
  • Added lasers to surf_egypt2
  • Fixed up the database a bit:
    • Removed all duplicate stage times, and prevented the issue from repeating itself. The nature of this change will also speed up player profile loading
    • When maps/bonus/stage times are ported to a new map version, the times will now retain the original completion timestamp
Bhop:
  • Fixed skip on bhop_angkor_rg2, wiped times
  • Removed bhop_hood
  • Updated scoreboard clantag visualization
  • Added rank column to the web bhop stats page
  • Added surf_not_so_hentai (T2 Staged)
  • Fixed new reserved slots issue that popped up from Monday's update
  • Retakes updates:
    • Fixed an issue with VIP priority queue
    • Maximum concurrent wins lowered from 6 to 5 for a scramble
    • Added chat damage print to round ends (similar to ESEA)

  • Removed numerous times on maps that are no longer playable on KZTimer servers

  • Added 3rd person command to bhop server
  • Updated bhop timer, several new features & fixes:
    • Fixed exploit related to checkpoints.
    • Added the ability to stop replay playback as the requester.
    • !replay command moves you to spectator, and refers you to the replay bot upon use now.
    • Added PB split to HUD. The top-left HUD will split to two sections; "best" and "PB".
    • Added map tier to start zone HUD.
    • Fixed unintended behavior with checkpoints menu.
    • !r shows the track in the message if start zone doesn't exist.
    • Fixed HUD showing wrong time when playing with timescale.
    • Fixed checkpoints not properly setting targetname and classname.
    • Fixed an issue where deleted replays would not be overwritten.
    • Added cooldown for replay playback/stop for non-admin users.
    • Fixed replay bots breaking at certain interactions; such as stopping playback between the replay's end and its nullification and then requesting new playback.
    • Improved smoothness of all replay playback.
    • Fixed a bug that caused the last frame of replays seem out-of-place.
    • Scoreboard now shows current player ranking
