I have noticed while playing in the 1v1 server that many maps have an overlay or decal somewhere on the map advertising the server. Is that done by the plugin used by the server or is there a texture file for that somewhere that map creators can use when making their AM maps? I am adapting aim_jungle into am_jungle and was wondering if that's something that needed to be done. Additionally, if anyone knows can there be multiple spawn points per arena? I believe I saw someone say yes as long as they're within 1600 units of each other? Is there anything special I have to do to label each arena in Hammer or does the plugin take care of that?

The advertisement from our partner is plugin driven, not baked into each map.

In regards to additional arenas and spawns:
Nice map! Should be pretty easy to make the am version. Just copy the map 16 times and space them out in the grid. Make sure there isn't anything that get's messed up when you copy paste.

Don't worry about the spawn priority because the plugin will handle spawns automatically. As long as you follow those guidelines you should be good. Make sure there's enough space between each copy of your arena so you can't hear gun shots.

1v1 map makers generally have two versions of their maps
aim - one arena typically with guns on the ground to play with friends
am - multiple arenas usually 16 meant for 1v1 plugin

Thanks for the helpful info. The audible distance for gunshots seems to be longer than I originally expected after testing with my 16 arenas all spaced out. Is there some known unit value for the minimum distance between arenas?

I spaced my arenas out like so and pistols could still be heard between arenas...: 1609620733422.png

might end up having to use x, y and z to spread them out far enough..?

That's weird it looks spaced out enough. Maybe try spacing it out in the x/y direction instead of vertically.
