What do you believe your role as an administrator includes? What kind of responsibilities?
Priority responsibilities in my point of view would be to keep the server as clean and fair as possible. Leading by example would influence the attitudes of those who participate in this server. In time would make it easier to maintain. I believe teaching would be a better impact than immediate punishment.
Why do you want to become an administrator?
After spending a lot of time in the server over the past 5 weeks (when I first joined) I've gotten the chance to see the best and worst sides of people. I have seen multiple racists and countless mic spammers. This of course always occurs when an admin is not on. (which is more than half of the time I spend in this server) These incidents occur about a handful of times a day, where the toxic person will keep at it until they get the reaction they want. This is something I would like to avoid or stop since typically when something like this happens it then causes our regular users to leave.
Why should I choose you for an admin position?
With the amount of time I've put into the server, I have built many relationships with the users involved. I am very understanding and would not be bias if an argument takes place. I am a very responsible and respectful person, especially when it comes to making important decisions which is why I am an insurance agent so I always study whatever information I have and then utilize it to make the best decision possible.
Anything else you would like to share that might be relevant to your application?
I am all about keeping a positive attitude which I think is needed in a community like this which has so many people that are seeking out to ruin others day. I like to skate occasionally and crack a cold one with the boys! Preferably coronas or Lagunitas IPA. I spend most of my time online since my job requires that, so quick responses are a given.
