I feel like I remember sneaK's Community having a Classic Offensive server when the mode was first introduced a long time ago.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I figured I'd post about this anyway to know what the community thinks.

Classic Offensive mod - Mod DB

Steam Greenlight::Classic Offensive (steamcommunity.com)

There are also other total conversion mods like NOBLE Strike that I think are really cool too.

NOBLE Strike - Trailer - YouTube

Counter-Strike but it's Halo - YouTube

With the boom in ZooL and their Discord's popularity, plus the boom in CSGO modding in general, there are also tons of projects listed on ModDB I see potential in too and I suggest browsing for a bit, some of these look really really fascinating.

Mods - Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Mod DB

I'd definitely love a Classic Offensive server when it comes to Steam and perhaps the Events Team can look at some of these less mainstream mods and set something temporary up for the community to enjoy as an event. I sincerely doubt that there will be continued support for some of these mods and subsequent CSGO updates will break them, especially the big ones like Broken Fang or Shattered Web, however Classic Offensive is likely the surest bet to receive continued support post-release from it's developers.

We actually used to host the top 2 most popular Classic Offensive servers, we had full servers 24/7 and it was a lot of fun.

The mod essentially died after the initial hype, once it got greenlit there has been no significant development and has been in a steady, but slow state of 'here's a new model we made this month'. Poking about development generally resulted in some pretty nasty responses, so that turned away the few left who were interested - last I checked the mod sees maybe a dozen players or so at any given time, pretty disappointing considering the platform they were given, and how much fun it actually was.

I'd be happy to host for it again, however it does not look like it will be supported or get a full Steam release any time soon.

ive been really excited to look at, or maybe even try, noble strike. halo is my entire childhood and id love to see something cool like that.

I actually forgot about this mod. I followed it years back and was pretty hyped for it, but, like i said I forgot about it. Kind of figured this would happen (at least it would get played for a while then die.) That sort of thing always happened during the later years of 1.6 (when css was out) someone would post a thread about cs 1.2/1.5/etc. It would get played for a week or two then just die off. Only to have someone else post something about it a year or two later and end up with a repeat for about a week or two.

But if there isn't any active development on the mod, if it still has bugs, I don't see it really getting played again unless someone else picks up development.

If y'all not in Supremacy Renewed I can vouch.
