No Change/Rejected Recording Demos

Hey so, I am just a little out of the loop. For fun in my spare time I am going to put a compilation of the shinannegans found within the surf server together.

Back when I played regularly, this could be done by using the 'demo' command followed by the name of the recording and the file extension .dem.

I can only imagine this is not working as a result of how rounds work on surf maps - or lack there of. After attempting the client responds with something to the extent: "Please begin recording at the beginning of next round".

Of course, with technically no next round to come, I was curious if anyone has found a work around this?
