This works with any white crosshair, but my crosshair is a simple white dot with some black mixed in so it doesn't get lost in brighter surfaces. It turns red when I shoot and yellow when I right click, which is kind of silly and probably not ideal for most players. Someone on the server asked about my crosshair and I explained it, as I have before, and they were interested in it so here is a little tutorial on how to do this.
What you will need:
A white crosshair. (You can change the commands to suit it for yourself, but my .cfg file is for a white crosshair.)
This .cfg file.
Some common sense on how to transfer files and get around your file explorer.
Here is how it looks in practice:
Where does it go?:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg
How do you use it?:
"exec colorhair" in console, then "bind mouse1 +fire" and "bind mouse2 +altfire".
If you want to turn it off just simply rebind mouse1 to +attack and mouse2 to +attack2.
ENJOY.
