In-Game Name:
james
Age:
18
Position(s) you are applying for:
Moderator
Estimated hours per week on our servers:
20-29
Server(s) you primarily play on:
Surf and KZ.
Are you active in the community outside of our game servers (Forums, Discord)?:
Yes
Would you commit yourself to regularly answering Call Admin pings via Discord?:
Yes
Days/Times of the week you are usually on:
All days of the week, however, I work nighttime (5pm est-2am est) at my job from Thursday to Sunday. I'm mostly on during late night. (past 12am EST)
What unique qualities would you bring to the position(s) you are applying for?:
One unique quality that I have is that I've invested most of my CS:GO playtime into community servers, such as Minigames (my favorite imo), surf, kz, bhop, 1v1s, basically all servers that this community has to offer. I've had a deep understanding of all of these servers for over 4 years, so I know how each server works, and how their respective community is, how they act, what's banter and what's over the line toxic, etc. I have established myself across most of our servers, like I mentioned prior, primarily Surf and KZ.
I have logged 14 days in the past four months that I've played onto surf (literal nolife lul), so I'm overqualified on that requirement, and also shows how deeply invested I am onto this server.
Have you ever had any administrative action taken upon you?:
No
Any additional information that is relevant:
The main reason that I'm applying for this position is that there has been too many times where micspam, racism, and so much more has gone unpunished while mods are unable to be on, which is usually to always past 12 AM est until the server restarts at 7 AM est. I try my hardest to push votemutes as I'm a lifetime VIP on the servers but sometimes those votes don't go through, and rulebreakers will continue to break rules.
I have been moderator in numerous communities, across many CS:GO servers. I've also moderated CS:S, GMOD and TF2 servers as well, although we don't have any servers there, it's still important to note. I know how to use moderator commands, therefore not needing much "training" here. I know when to utilize my moderator power, and effectively. I truly wish that I can get moderator just to deal with those late night peeps, and to help whenever I'm on.
