interesting question - i tested this with other users of the community, non-staff or VIP on both sides, although unaware if such privileges would have an impact on a plugin unless it's coded into the self-mute plugin specifically to limit users with default flags of muting voice communications only and leaving in-game chat still afloat, that'd be a bit odd though i think!! i believe it might have something to do with more of the chat parser of surftimer or something similar due to when in CS:GO's newly implemented options, we're able to mask all users names with more friendly names, which displays accordingly on the scoreboard & in-game chat of official servers, however, with Sneak's, the in-game chat still resorts to the individuals alias, overruling those settings entirely which ... i think it could have something to do with the ranking system, or titles in-game perhaps, i'm not too sure about that :-)
