Sneak's Events Team is setting up a short match 5v5 competitive tournament!
Discord Event
The tournament will take place Saturday, July 30th at 1:00 pm EST
The tournament will be streamed and casted on the official SNKSRV twitch page
How To Enter
Account requirements: No brand new accounts, no private profiles between the date of signup and the end of the match day
Server requirements: At least three players per team must have 10+ hours on our servers
The tournament will take place on our very own FACEIT Tournament organized by some very special people, please direct your team to make FACEIT accounts (if they don't already have one) as we will be utilizing their anti-cheat. Signups will be available until Friday, July 29th at 6:00 pm EST. Signups will be available at the Tournament Page
Format
THIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE PLAYED AS SHORT MATCHES (BEST OF 16 ROUNDS) (FIRST TO 9)
16 teams: First come, first serve
The map pool will consist of the active pool + cache.
Each team can have up to 6 players (5, + 1 stand-in)
Each team will veto a map until one remains, and that map will be played.
Beginning matches are BO1, semi-finals are BO3 except for the grand final, which is BO5
Prizes
The prize pool will start at $500 (divided up amongst the players) and will also consist of VIP, and specialties! Stay tuned
There are also a couple of hidden achievements which will yield different prizes!
There will be a donation button to crowdfund the prize pool as well.
Rules
Community Rules still apply, read them here
No fighting or harassment of other teams. If found, your team can be disqualified.
No cheating. If someone is convicted of cheating, their team is disqualified and the player(s) banned for life.
Every player must be in the community discord while playing their matches.
