when muting in-game players that we're not wanting to associate with by using the !sm command, this doesn't issue an ignoremsg on the user, and we're able to still see the user talk in-game
there's ways around this by doing "ignoremsg" in console, but that's a global mute for all players -- including the new features that CS:GO released recently that allows us to mute all players outside of our friends; additionally blocking communications is another option that doesn't ignore the user due to the chat parsing of the plugins used -- this is from my experience at least
i'd like to see if it's possible to implement, or adjust, the !sm plugin to ignore all communication from that user, including in-game chat
