get rid of them my timer is having a R A V E

No plans to remove it, a lot of people wanted it. Works just as it does in Momentum Mod:

At best I'll probably dial back the colors a bit so they're not as 'strong'

Also, when on a linear map, the word "sync" and the percent are moved to the left, leaving a big portion empty on the right. pls fix?

This has already been fixed, wait till map change. Colors have been changed in opacity.

That's not a planned feature
